Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans to promote recovery and overall well-being. The Therapist will work closely with patients who have developmental disabilities and provide support and guidance to help them reach their full potential. Duties - Conduct patient assessments using a variety of tools and techniques, including ICD-10 coding and medical terminology. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, including case management and direct support. - Provide direct support to patients, including patient care and behavioral interventions. - Work with patients who have a range of developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress. - Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric and adult therapy, including evidence-based practices and best practices in patient care. - Provide a supportive and nurturing environment for patients and families. Skills - Strong understanding of patient care and direct support principles. - Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and medical terminology. - Experience working with patients who have developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities. - Ability to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with case management and patient assessment procedures. - Ability to work effectively in an outpatient setting. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
