Major FunctionsIG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Public Health Analyst (Sr. PHA) toprovide project management oversight and strategic leadership across a diverse portfolioof global public health initiatives.The Sr. PHA will play a key leadership role in managing complex public health programs,supervising technical teams, supporting business development efforts, and strengtheningpartnerships with donors, government agencies, and implementing partners. This positionrequires strong project management expertise, leadership skills, and experience working inlow- and middle-income countries.III. Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Implementation ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage detailed project work plans, implementation schedules, and operational timelines to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.Maintain regular project tracking, implementation updates, and progress monitoring using Monday.com.Ensure all project activities, deliverables, and reporting requirements are completed within agreed timelines and in line with donor expectations.Demonstrate a strong understanding of local country contexts, operational environments, stakeholder dynamics, and implementation challenges to support effective program delivery.Serve as a key liaison between field offices, headquarters, donors, government counterparts, and implementing partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.Provide day-to-day technical and operational guidance to field offices and project teams to support the smooth implementation of activities.Monitor implementation progress across field sites and proactively address operational bottlenecks, risks, and compliance issues.Coordinate closely with country teams to ensure project activities align with approved work plans, budgets, and donor requirements.Facilitate regular communication, reporting, and follow-up between internal teams and donor agencies regarding project progress and deliverables.Support development and submission of project updates, situation reports, implementation summaries, and donor reports.Ensure effective coordination among technical, operational, and administrative teams to strengthen project implementation efficiency.Support field teams in problem-solving, activity planning, resource allocation, and implementation decision-making.Financial & Operational OversightSupport project budgeting, work planning, and financial oversight activities.Monitor resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization of project resources.Provide guidance on consultant management, contracts, and operational processes.Leadership & ManagementProvide leadership, direction, and technical guidance in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating public health programs and initiatives.Supervise and mentor Public Health Analysts and other program staff.Participate in and lead the development of program goals, priorities, objectives, and activities.Manage and oversee project portfolios, ensuring quality implementation and timely deliverables.Advise leadership on complex public health and operational issues.Business Development & PartnershipsCollaborate closely with the Chief Strategy Officer to support proposal development efforts, including stakeholder engagement, technical writing, and content synthesis.Collaborate with partners, government agencies, and donors to strengthen program implementation and partnerships.Provide guidance on donor compliance, project implementation, and operational planning.IV. QualificationsRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or a related field from an accredited institution.Minimum of 4 years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs and scientific studies/surveys in low- and middle-income countries.Demonstrated in-country project management and implementation experience.Experience managing and developing work plans and budgets.Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and multicultural environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with international donors, government agencies, and implementing partners.Public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills.Business development and proposal writing experience.Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset.Core CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Strong technical writing and presentation skills.Ability to anticipate emerging trends and programmatic needs.V.
