Summary:MOMA TITLE: Compute Resource Vertical Planner, TPM/PgM, ResearchResearch endeavors to meet the strategic priority as an AI-first company by advancing the state-of-the-art in AI and CS. Our PA includes groups focused on …. Research collaborates across company and external organizations as both a research and a product organization.Responsibilities:Key projects and operations will include, but not be limited to:Develop and rollout operational processes and tools for compute resources based on best practices and feedback from Vertical stakeholders and users. Coordinate implementation timelines and communications with stakeholders.Establish metrics to inform planning decisions and measure efficiency and utilization, including reporting and alerting.Technical configuration of resource management automation tools. Troubleshoot errors in various infrastructure platforms.Produce user guides, process documentation, and other forms of educational resources.Collect inorganic demand signals from Eng teams & clarify the prioritization of machine allocations. This may include working with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and establishing a formal process for forecasting growth.The Technical Operations team strives to enable smooth and efficient work within the PA by building the right tools and processes for our researchers. Our team leads efforts in areas such as compute resource management, portfolio management, privacy, publication approvals, website management, and more.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications (MQs)3 years general program management experienceExperience in program management fundamentals with effective written and verbal communication skillsLevel relevant problem solving and analytical skillsExperience identifying process improvements and quantifying impactPreferred Qualifications (PQs)Familiarity with machine resource provisioning, allocating, and queueing/scheduling systemsFamiliarity with the production system and Borg schedulerFamiliarity with accounting-based and/or capacity planning principlesExperience performing data analysis, building metrics systems, and toolingAbility to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
