FAE Operation & Maintenance Engineer
About the role:This role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated assembly and testing lines, ensuring stable and efficient production operations. It involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support continuous improvement on-site.Job Responsibilities 1. Pre-construction of Production Lines 1.1 Assembly and WiringBe responsible for the on-site installation, mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of automotive automated assembly and testing lines to ensure the equipment hardware complies with design specifications.Communicate and collaborate proactively with the design team and suppliers during the assembly and wiring process, feed back and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to ensure the project progress is not affected. 1.2 Functional CommissioningCooperate with the R&D team to conduct single-machine commissioning of automated lines, use professional tools and methods to test and optimize each function of the equipment one by one with R&D engineers, ensuring the performance of single-machine equipment meets design requirements.Conduct online commissioning of the lines, simulate the actual production process, fully verify the operational stability and coordination of the entire automated assembly and testing line, timely identify and resolve communication faults, action synchronization issues and other problems between devices to achieve the smooth overall operation of the line. Record the problems found, solutions adopted and final commissioning results during the commissioning process, and provide detailed technical documents for subsequent equipment acceptance and maintenance. 2. Post-operation & Maintenance of Production Lines 2.1 Production Support Provide full on-site production support in the initial stage of the official production of the customer's production line, closely monitor the operation status of the automated line, respond to and resolve equipment failures and technical problems arising during production in a timely manner to ensure the continuity and stability of production.Maintain close communication with the customer's production, process, quality and other departments, adjust and optimize equipment operating parameters reasonably according to the actual production situation, improve production efficiency and product quality to meet the customer's production needs. Collect improvement suggestions and demands put forward by customers during production, feed them back to the company's internal R&D and technical teams in a timely manner to provide a basis for the continuous improvement of products. 2.2 Daily Operation & Maintenance ManagementFormulate and implement a comprehensive daily equipment maintenance plan, including regular patrol inspection, cleaning and maintenance, replacement of wearing parts and other work, to ensure the automated line is always in good operating condition, reduce equipment failure rate and extend the service life of equipment.Be responsible for the fault diagnosis and repair of equipment. When equipment failures occur, be able to quickly and accurately judge the cause of the fault, formulate and implement effective maintenance plans, restore the normal operation of equipment in a timely manner and reduce downtime. Establish detailed equipment operation and maintenance files, record the equipment maintenance history, fault information, repair records, etc., provide data support for the whole life cycle management of equipment, and facilitate subsequent equipment maintenance and technical analysis. Job Requirements 1. Educational BackgroundCollege degree or above, major in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Electronic Information Engineering and other related majors. For candidates with rich experience and equivalent educational background, the academic requirements can be relaxed. 2. Work ExperienceHave more than 2 years of work experience in the operation and maintenance of automated equipment; candidates with experience in the operation and maintenance of automated lines in the automotive industry are preferred.Candidates familiar with the production process and technical characteristics of automotive products will have a competitive advantage. 3. Professional SkillsProficiency in the mechanical structure principle, electrical control technology and commissioning methods of automated equipment, and have the ability to independently complete equipment assembly, wiring and commissioning work.Have the ability to cooperate with electrical engineers in PLC commissioning and I/O point docking.Have strong ability in electrical fault troubleshooting and maintenance, be familiar with electrical control principles, and be able to skillfully use multimeter, oscilloscope and other tools for electrical fault diagnosis. 4.
