Senior Accountant

OverviewA growing biotechnology organization is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant. This role will focus on core accounting operations, monthly close, and audit support. The team is looking for a hands-on, dependable professional who can step in quickly, take ownership of the work, and collaborate closely with the Controller and broader accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day accounting process and thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment.Key Responsibilities:Support and execute the monthly close process, including timely preparation of journal entriesPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple entities, including international subsidiariesPartner closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure accurate reportingReview financial data for accuracy and completenessSupport process improvements and documentation as needed Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-7+ years of general ledger accounting experienceStrong experience with monthly close and account reconciliationsNetSuite experience strongly preferredExposure to multi-entity and international accounting (Spain and Brazil) a plusLife sciences industry experience helpful but not requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyComfortable working onsite in a collaborative team environmentAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
