Compensation: To $105KJob Overview – Tax Accountant – 34249Our client, a well-established and growing local CPA firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed CPA who enjoys working in a collaborative, client-focused environment and handling a diverse portfolio of individual and business tax clients.This role is ideal for someone who values relationships, enjoys variety in their work, and wants to be part of a smaller firm where they can make a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal and state tax returns for:Individuals (1040)Corporations (C-Corp)S CorporationsPartnerships, trusts, and other entities as neededConduct tax planning and advisory services for individuals and business clientsResearch tax issues and stay current on changing tax laws and regulationsCommunicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide guidanceAssist clients with notices, audits, and tax authority correspondenceIdentify tax savings opportunities and recommend proactive strategiesSupport year-end tax projections and quarterly estimated paymentsCollaborate with firm leadership on client service initiatives and process improvementsRequirementsActive CPA license requiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of public accounting tax experience preferredStrong experience preparing 1040, Corporate, and S Corporation returnsKnowledge of current federal and state tax lawsProficiency with tax software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines during busy seasonPreferred TraitsComfortable working in a smaller, team-oriented firm environmentSelf-starter with strong problem-solving abilitiesProfessional, personable, and client-service drivenInterested in long-term growth and partnership potentialAdditional Job DetailsWorkplace Policy:Seniority Level: Mid-Senior LevelLinked In Poster:About Our ProcessWe will notify you if you are selected as a candidate for this role.
