Program Supervisor

Job Overview ZINEniac is seeking a dependable, organized, and people-focused Program Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of educational and community-based programs while providing direct supervision to Teachers, Aides, and Drivers. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor serves as the frontline leader responsible for ensuring personnel are supported, participants receive exceptional services, and daily operations run efficiently. This role balances leadership, coaching, scheduling, quality assurance, and problem-solving to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for adults participating in ZINEniac programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining high standards, and creating positive experiences for clients and personnel alike. Responsibilities Staff Supervision Provide daily supervision and leadership to Teachers, Program Aides, and Drivers. Assign daily responsibilities and ensure adequate personnel coverage. Monitor personnel attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and performance. Conduct classroom and program observations and provide coaching and feedback. Assist with onboarding and training new personnel. Address minor performance concerns and escalate significant issues to the Program Manager when appropriate. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture. Program Operations Oversee daily operations to ensure programs run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Monitor client attendance and personnel ratios. Ensure activities and lesson plans are delivered according to program expectations. Coordinate transportation schedules with drivers and instructional personnel. Ensure classrooms, activity spaces, and vehicles remain organized, clean, and safe. Assist with client arrivals, departures, transitions, and community outings. Participant Support Build positive relationships with clients, families, schools, support coordinators, and community partners. Assist personnel in responding appropriately to participant needs and behavioral challenges. Ensure clients are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Help resolve client and family concerns promptly and professionally. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with ZINEniac policies, safety procedures, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Complete required incident reports, transportation documentation, attendance records, and daily program reports. Conduct routine safety checks of classrooms, equipment, and vehicles. Respond appropriately to emergencies and support personnel during crisis situations. Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in public health or social work (preferred). Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, leadership, or program coordination experience. Experience working in education, human services, youth programs, adult services, recreation, or community-based programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Valid New Jersey Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass all required background checks. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Psychology, Recreation, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience supervising teachers, aides, drivers, or direct support professionals. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). CPR and First Aid Certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Pay Structure This is a 1099 - Independent Contractor role, not a W-2. This role is an EXEMPT salary.
