Brief DescriptionAs a Receiver, a typical day might include the following:Receiving, storing, dating and rotating all items that enter loading dockAssisting in organization of all food and dry goods Ensuring all sanitary and safety procedures for all storage areas are followed in accordance with OSHA and Health Department standardsMaintaining storage areas in organized, accessible, user friendly mannerPerforming weekly “on hand inventories” and ensuring all necessary products are at proper levels to support business trendsAssisting with identifying and returning sub par, damaged or incorrect product to obtain associated creditOther duties as assignedRequirementsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:1 year general maintenance experience is required Must have general reading and math skillsMust be able to read and understand invoices accuratelyYou are passionate about the hospitality industryYou present a neat and professional appearanceYou are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workersYou are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff membersPhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
