Position Summary Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor will ensure timely delivery service and optimum fleet utilization based on cubic yards per driver hour. Must be able to learn and perform all dispatching responsibilities.Position Based In Tyler, TX Job ResponsibilitiesCheck with Dispatcher as to number of trucks and Drivers available for today's businessCheck on any cancellations or delays in today's businessRun current and future schedulesLearn to write up verbal ordersHandle telephone callsLearn to schedule business for the dayHandle future business as requiredContact Customer Representatives on any mix design changesInform Customer Representatives of any problems at their assigned plantsWork with Dispatcher on moving orders in current schedule as changes occurLearn to answer customers questions as to progress on current concrete poursLearn to evaluate possibility of increasing yardage on current concrete poursLearn to coordinate with maintenance as to when they may be able to work on a plantLearn to check verbal orders in order entry to verify that information is correctOther duties as assignedPreferred Education And Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
