The program is focused on making risk assessments of individuals attempting to access US transportation infrastructure. There is a demanding response time, availability, and transaction requirement for the program. The program uses Agile Development and the Java Engineer/Developer will be a member of an agile team.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESQUALIFICATIONSRequired Certifications- Agile Certification PreferredEducation, Background, and Years of Experience- Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a formal degree.ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills- 2+ years of java development experience- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience/ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment- Experience with Java/JEE- Experience with Agile Development- Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlinesPreferred Skills- Experience with any of the following preferred: JMS, XML, Angular, SQL- Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirementsEmployees of Agile Defense are our number one priority, and the importance we place on our culture here is fundamental.
