Address general building upkeep tasks, which may include carpentry, painting, and repairs to structural elements like floors, walls, windows, doors, and roofs." Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs to prevent and resolve safety and comfort issues. Install new equipment and oversee building upgrades to preserve the facility." Execute a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure the ongoing functionality and longevity of machinery and building systems." Proactively apply and adhere to Alcon safety protocols. Ability to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures to protect all personnel and comply with regulatory standards. Ensure all maintenance work complies with established safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment." Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, documenting repairs, inspections, and parts used." Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked." Efficient prioritize and document tasks using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is key to operational." Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or occupants of the building in a pleasant manner.Education Requirements" A high school diploma or equivalent" Vocational training would be highly advantageousExperienceGeneral maintenance and mechanical knowledge required.
