Job Summary Assist the Program Director in the management and supervision of the day-to-day clinical operation of MRSS.
Duties and Responsibilities Work alongsideProgram Director to oversee daily operations of the program (1p to 9p)/ On Call as required
In conjunction with Program Director, will ensure that Family Intervention Specialists and Family Support Workers provide clinical interventions to children and families in crisis following the Children System of Care Model and Protocols
Provide crisis stabilization services in the field when Family Intervention Specialists and family Support Workers need back up support
Become certified and maintain certification for the Crisis Assessment Tool
Monitor and ensure that Family Intervention Specialists and Crisis Intervention Specialists are certified in the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT) and maintain yearly certification
Work with Program Director & Program Director in developing and implementing staffing patterns that will maximize staffs ability to respond to crisis' on a 24 hour/7 day week schedule
In conjunction with Program Director & Program Director, ensure a positive work environment and positive staff morale
In conjunction with Program Director, provide clinical supervision for all program cases
Provide training and ongoing supervision to Family Intervention Specialists and Crisis Intervention Specialists
Become certified and maintain certification for the Crisis Assessment Tool
Monitor and ensure that Family Intervention Specialists and Crisis Intervention Specialists are certified in the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT) and maintain yearly certification
Coordinate all staff training for the State of NJ and Catholic Charities
Oversee, review and approve all Individual Crisis Plans (ICP), monitor all client outcomes, review CMO Referrals, review transitional plans for discharge, and review Crisis Assessment Tools
Ensure that MRSS services complies with Children System of Care contract requirements and implement best practices in the field
In conjunction with Program Director, supervise program staff and complete initial and yearly evaluations
AssistProgram Director in developing methods to collect data for tracking external/internal outcomes established by CSOC/MRSS including delivery of services, outcomes of direct services, cost effectiveness of services, customer satisfaction of the delivery of services, and overall effectiveness of these services
In conjunction with Program Director, implement Continuous Quality Improvement using PDSA models
Provide back up on an as needed basis to Program Director
Ensure on-call coverage for 24/7 program environment
Collaborate and work cooperatively with other agency staff and community agencies
Serve on professional committees as required by the administration and in keeping with professional standards
Fulfill diverse responsibilities required and/or assigned by theProgram Direct and/or Program Director
Comply to COA Standards of Catholic Charities and all agency policies
Report to and be supervised by the Program Director
Attend all trainings mandated by the state and any other training assigned by the Program Director that will enhance job responsibilities
Learn Millenium and CYBER Program that is used by the CCDOT & CSOC
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements Requirements Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field.
License (LSW/LAC) required (LCSW or LPC preferred)
A minimum of three years' experience working with children/youth.
Be flexible to work evening and weekend schedules in addition to emergency response coverage
Exempt/Non-Exempt Weekly Work Hours 40 hrs
Proposed Salary $70,000 plus 5K differential for evening shift. All on call rates apply.
Schedule Monday- Friday 1:00pm- 9:00pm (on call as needed)
