A litigation-focused law firm is seeking a part-time Legal Secretary / Paralegal to support attorneys handling high-impact cases across consumer protection, privacy, environmental law, Proposition 65, and False Claims Act matters. The firm also advises on regulatory compliance and serves as outside counsel for government entities.Position OverviewThis role will support a range of litigation activities and is ideal for someone with strong experience in civil litigation who can operate independently in a remote environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide litigation support including drafting, formatting, and filing legal documentsManage court filings (state and federal), calendaring deadlines, and case trackingAssist with discovery, document management, and trial preparationCoordinate with attorneys on pleadings, motions, and case materialsMaintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court proceduresSupport regulatory and compliance-related matters as neededQualificationsPrior experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal with litigation experience requiredFamiliarity with court filing systems and litigation proceduresExperience supporting civil litigation matters (Proposition 65 experience is a plus)Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work independently in a remote environment
