Farm Mechanic

Job Summary: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. Key Functions/Responsibilities: Install machines and equipment and perform regular preventive maintenance and service on said machines, equipment and OWH facility Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production; Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines Implement and maintain a monthly farm equipment maintenance program using computer program Schedule, perform and document all repairs, parts replacements on equipment Maintain parts inventory for farm equipment, and ensure necessary spare parts are on hand to prevent equipment downtime; maintain complete equipment inventory Keep maintenance shop cleaned and organized Perform a variety of maintenance functions Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Other duties as assigned by management
