POSITION IS LOCATED IN TORRANCE, CAKey ResponsibilitiesAs a seasoned Sr. "Privacy" Project Manager with experience delivering real-world complex Data & Advanced Analytics projects, the person is expected to:Plan, execute, and oversee technology and data platform initiatives within the Global Services and Data Platform (GSDPF) Division by coordinating scope, schedule, resources, budget, and deliverablesEnsure projects are delivered in alignment with approved objectives, governance standards, and quality expectations while supporting data, analytics, and digital transformation initiativesWhat Will The Person Be Working OnProject Planning & ExecutionDevelop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestone timelines in alignment with approved scope and objectivesCoordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to support timely and efficient execution of deliverables throughout the project lifecycleData Privacy Project LeadershipLead projects focused on data privacy compliance and regulatory alignmentDrive privacy assessments, security checkpoints, and compliance reviews as part of project deliveryPartner with Legal, InfoSec, and Data Governance teams to ensure appropriate handling of PII, sensitive data, and regulated datasetsOversee implementation of privacy controls such as access restrictions, masking, minimization, retention workflows, and audit traceabilityEnsure that privacy requirements are incorporated into user stories, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and definition of doneAgile & Scrum LeadershipFacilitate all Agile ceremonies and ensure that both data and privacy requirements are visible, prioritized, and worked through in alignment with sprint goalsPartner with Product Owners to maintain dual-focused backlogs that cover feature delivery, data quality enhancements, compliance tasks, and privacy controlsRemove blockers—technical, process-related, or privacy-related—to maintain delivery flowCoach teams to improve Agile maturity while maintaining compliance and governance expectationsStakeholder Coordination & CommunicationServe as a central point of coordination between business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and leadershipFacilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision forums, ensuring clear, consistent communication of progress, risks, dependencies, and impactsScope, Schedule & Risk ManagementMonitor project scope, schedule, and risk by tracking progress against approved plans and identifying variancesDocument, manage, and escalate risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests in accordance with established project governance and escalation protocolsFinancial & Resource ManagementTrack and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure alignment with approved funding and staffing plansSupport financial reporting, cost monitoring, and resource planning activities in coordination with leadership and finance partnersDelivery Governance & Quality AssuranceEnsure project deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria, quality standards, and governance requirements by supporting review, validation, and approval processesMaintain accurate and complete project documentation in accordance with organizational, audit, and compliance standardsOperational Transition & Continuous ImprovementSupport the transition of completed initiatives into operational teams by coordinating knowledge transfer, documentation, and handoff activitiesCapture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices, tools, and processesData & AI/Advanced Analytics Project ManagementLead end-to-end planning and delivery of data pipelines, modeling efforts, analytics solutions, dashboards, and data modernization initiativesCoordinate cross-functional work across data engineering, BI, data governance, QA, product, and business groupsEnsure strong data governance practices—including metadata accuracy, documentation, lineage, and quality controls—are embedded throughout all projectsManage dependencies across systems and teams to ensure data solutions integrate cleanly and securelyRequired Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)7+ years of experience managing projects in technology, data, or digital platform environments that enable large-scale enterprise applications and data platformsDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects using structured project management methodologiesKnowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)Experience w/project tracking & reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Clarity, or similar)Strong organizational, risk management, and issue resolution skillsAbility to manage multiple initiatives with competing prioritiesClear written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and technical audiencesTypical key performance indicators:On-time delivery of project milestones and deliverablesAdherence to approved scope, schedule, budget, and complianceAccuracy and timeliness of project status reportingStakeholder satisfaction with project execution and outcomesEffectiveness of risk and issue managementDesired Skills:3+ years of big 4 consulting experience is preferredA stable work history with large enterprise organizationsThe hiring range for this position is $74.00 to $81.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay rate actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
