Responsibilities:
Develop and execute health and safety plans/training in the workplace
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
Investigate accidents or incidents
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
Prepare safety permits/approvals
Provide professional expertise
The position is:
Working for site owner overseeing contractors working on two construction projects
Paid hourly
Time and half after 40 hours worked
Annual raises based on safety performance and reliability
Mileage mobilization reimbursement to job area
Daily per-diem will be given to cover all lodging and living expense based off of GSA.gov rates

3-7 years of safety experience is preferred
Construction experience is preferred
Automotive safety experience is preferred
Safety Degree preferred
Requirements:
College degree preferred or relative job experience
Ability to work all shifts (day/night/weekends)
OSHA 30, 510 and 500 certs
Experience working within a automotive plant
Willing to travel
Good communication skills
Proficient Word/Excel/Powerpoint
Valid Driver's License
