Job Title: RegOps Java Lead Developer Location: MetroPark Office, NJ Wok Type: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire Client: Banking Client Visa: USC, GC, GC EAD, TN Interview Process: 2 video interview rounds followed by a final in-person interview (F2F). A coding assessment may be included. Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Java Lead Developer to join the Regulatory Operations (RegOps) technology team. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams to deliver regulatory reporting and operational capabilities using modern data architectures and enterprise integration technologies. This position requires a strong server-side Java developer with messaging-based architecture experience, along with the ability to lead a small team of developers and manage deliverables. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of hands-on Java development, primarily focused on server-side systems Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, and XML Experience building messaging-driven architectures Experience working in Agile development environments Proven experience leading small-to-medium development teams, mentoring developers, and managing delivery timelines Hands-on experience with message queue technologies, including: Kafka JMS ActiveMQ IBM MQ Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as: SQL Server Sybase Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including: Jenkins Git SonarQube Preferred Qualifications Experience in Fixed Income or derivatives trading systems Knowledge of financial products including IRD, FX, or CRD Experience working with regulatory reporting systems Exposure to collateral management processes Experience with Murex is a plus Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team player Demonstrated ownership and leadership mindset Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Vishal (Victor) Verma | Assistant Manager vishal@nsitsolutions.com NS IT Solutions www.nsitsolutions.com
