American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active DC RN license.Job Details• Works in the Surgical ICU (SICU) of a 228-bed acute care, Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital,• Patient ratio of 1:2,• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30-08:00),• Every other weekend required,• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs,• No on-call responsibilities,• Charting performed in Cerner Sorian (1st Generation),• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active DC RN license required; pending licensure not accepted,• Minimum 2 years of SICU or relevant RN experience required (4 years preferred),• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,• Two professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted,• Every other holiday coverage is required,• Maximum of 1 RTO request for the duration of the contract,• Royal blue scrubs required,
