Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.Position Details:QA Engineering - QA Engineering-Remote-Chicago IL Location : 100% Remote (Anywhere in US – CST Hours) Project Duration : Contract Role / Possible Extension Pay Rate : $45-$52/hr. on W2About the Role • This position is with Yum Brands supporting Byte Edge engineering initiatives.• The QA Engineer will design, test, and maintain automated test frameworks and services.• The role involves UI automation, API testing, CI/CD pipeline monitoring, and debugging distributed systems.• This is a fully remote opportunity supporting CST working hours.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for Yum services• Draft test scenarios and write automation scripts for feature validation• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage bugs and investigate failures• Monitor and maintain automated test pipelines and identify issues using logs and observability tools• Communicate bugs clearly and proactively support issue resolution discussions• Utilize modern AI tools to improve testing workflows and delivery efficiencyRequired Skills & Qualifications• Strong experience with Node.js and Type Script• Hands-on experience with Playwright and automation testing frameworks• Experience testing Graph QL APIs and Pub/Sub systems such as MQTT/Web Sockets• Knowledge of Docker, cloud environments, and containerized deployments• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows• Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking tools• Understanding of logs, debugging, and distributed system troubleshooting• Experience with Android automation tools such as Appium is a plusTo discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Nikhil Jhajharia at email address can be reached on # 630-576-1935.
