If so, our client is hiring a Registered Nurse - PACU (Day)!What You'll Do:A PACU nurse is a registered nurse who provides medical care to patients following an operation or procedure using anaestheticResponsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Typically involves preparing patients for their surgery or procedure by communicating relevant information about the anaesthetic and monitoring their condition post-operationOther job duties include overseeing care for patients awakening from anaesthesia, making detailed observations of patients' vital signs and responsiveness to anaesthesia and checking patients' level of consciousnessWhat You’ll Bring:Minimum 2 years’ experience in PACU is required. Must have experience with both paediatric and adult patients. Prior travel experience preferred. Certification Required: Trauma certified (Must have TNCC, PALS, ACLS). Pennsylvania RN licenses required. Certification: BLS. Floating required: May be floated to OR or GI as neededCharting: Cerner Aecis Surgi NetSchedule:3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM)Weekend requirement: Only if on callCall requirement: 12-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday. 36 hours per week.
