Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders. Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license. Work schedule is Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. Some weekends may be required.Summary: The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks with a strong emphasis on carpentry, masonry, roofing, siding, and general building upkeep. This role ensures that facilities, structures, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Work schedule is Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. Some weekends may be required. Essential Functions: Perform carpentry work including framing, drywall installation/repair, trim work, door/window installation, and general wood repairs Complete masonry tasks such as brick/block repair, concrete patching, and minor cement work Perform roofing and siding repairs and installation as needed Conduct routine building maintenance including inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs Repair and maintain flooring, walls, ceilings, and structural components Assist with installation and repair of fixtures, cabinetry, shelving, and other building elements Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC support tasks as needed Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and comply with applicable codes and regulations Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders and work in various environments Ability to read and review written communication, blueprints, and work ordersOther Responsibilities: Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality Report to and from work at assigned times Complete other duties as assigned Must be honest and reliable Must be able to work in a team environment and provide support to co-workers Adhere to dress code policy Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (safety, conduct, etc.) May require occasional after-hours or emergency response workEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
