Registered Nurse - Nurse Recruiter

The Nurse Recruiter provides leadership in delivering and improving the processes of recruitment and retention of the nursing workforce. The Nurse Recruiter develops strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to garner and applicable pipeline of candidates. He/she utilizes their clinical practice to assess knowledge and experience of candidates to assure they align with the outlined job requirements. This position also serves as the Staffing Methodology Coordinator.The Nurse Recruiter will analyze recruitment and retention data to lead the facility in the development of nursing workforce recruitment and retention strategies and initiatives. The Nurse Recruiter serves as a clinical advisor to Senior leadership and nursing management as it pertains to nursing workforce planning and fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of health care professionals. The Nurse Recruiter incorporates professional standards and implements broad-reaching evidence-based change with documented programmatic outcomes. Conducts employee exit and staff satisfaction/retention interviews and trends data. Is an active participate in the new employee orientation process, as well as job fairs and other recruitment activities. Coordinates the DAISY Award program. Performs as the Staffing Methodology Coordinator. Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement. Fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of healthcare professionals. Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team.
