If so, look no further than our…Service Design / builders call line liaison position in our Little Canada, MN office!Primary Responsibilities Include:Service CoordinationManage and process requests related to:OH to UG service conversionsExisting service transfersService relocations and removalsCoordinate timelines, site readiness, and inspections with internal teams and external partnersTrack service requests through completion, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow‑upCustomer InteractionServe as the primary liaison between Xcel Energy and external customers, including:Homeowners and project managersProvide clear guidance on construction requirements, service standards, and project statusCommunicate technical information in a customer‑friendly mannerManage high‑volume inbound calls and inquiries while maintaining service qualityProblem ResolutionIdentify and resolve issues related to:Construction delaysService design conflictsPermitting or inspection challengesBilling or service application discrepanciesInterpret and explain company policies, tariffs, and industry regulationsEscalate complex or high‑risk issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolutionProcess Improvement & ComplianceEnsure customer requests comply with:Xcel Energy construction standardsStandard for Electric Installation and Use (“Blue Book”)Applicable safety, regulatory, and permitting requirementsIdentify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiencyRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)2+ years of experience in customer service, utility services, construction coordination, or technical supportStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interpret technical documents, construction drawings, or service standardsProven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentQ3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with gas and/or electric utilitiesFamiliarity with construction, permitting, or service installation processesKnowledge of Xcel Energy systems, standards, or utility operationsExperience in service design, process improvement, or contract liaison rolesKey CompetenciesCustomer‑focused mindsetStrong problem‑solving and decision‑making skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholdersAdaptability in a regulated, process‑driven environmentWork EnvironmentCustomer service and call‑center based environmentPrimarily desk‑based with use of multiple systems and databasesBenefits Include: Competitive compensation is paid weekly.
