Based in Houston, TX, with the backing of an international team of attorneys, this position combines the flexibility of semi-remote work with the benefits of maintaining a local presence for in-person client meetings and consultations when necessary.Description:This Attorney role requires engaging in a range of legal activities, including providing legal advice, conducting research, drafting documents, and representing clients in both consultations and legal proceedings. Partnership on-boarding, or near-immediate partnership track. The roles we are currently trying to fill include: Corporate/Transactional areas, Property/Oil & Gas areas, and Healthcare / Commercial litigation, alongside general legal services. As we expand in the long term, we will be seeking Immigration and Intellectual Property avenues as well. While the position is based in Houston, TX, it offers the flexibility to work remotely subject to client and case needs.Qualifications:Between 7 to 10 years of experience, with a book of business prepared for cursory reviewProven experience in providing Legal Advice and strategic guidance to clientsStrong Research and analytical skills to support case preparation and understanding of legal precedentsProficient in Negotiation and dispute resolution to effectively advocate for clients’ interestsActive membership in good standing with the State Bar of TexasAt three (2) MCLE published articles or presentations in the last four (4) yearsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases and deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and courtroom presentations
