Position Overview: As a Project Coordinator at Pro Contracting, you will play a critical role in supporting our Project Manager to ensure that all construction projects are completed on time and within scope. This position offers a unique blend of administrative responsibilities (75%) and hands-on fieldwork (25%), making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. What You’ll Do: Assist the Project Manager with project planning and execution by performing specific tasks as directed. Serve as the key liaison among project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination for successful project completion. Track the progress of all assigned projects and maintain an updated, consolidated project timeline. Coordinate with subcontractors to meet routine construction support requirements, especially when Pro Contracting is operating in a General Contractor role. Manage field projects as assigned by the Project Manager, taking charge to ensure on-time and quality completion. Create CAD, 2-D technical drawings from verbal and sketch instructions to aid in the design and construction of products or structures. Proactively identify and communicate potential project issues to the Project Manager. Oversee specified bulk inventory, including establishing minimum order quantities and placing replenishment orders. Manage our warehousing facility at 1905 W. Havens, ensuring materials, parts, and equipment are organized and accessible. Secure necessary construction permits and handle 811 OneCalls for excavation requirements. Prepare and present reports as needed to support project oversight. What You’ll Bring: Education: A 2-year degree in construction management, technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 1-5 years of experience in a construction management role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD drafting is required. Why Join Pro Contracting?
