At TSI, you make a difference – every day.Sr. Principal Software Engineer – Supervisor at TSITSI is reimagining their business and customer experience by delivering game changing digital solutions across a variety of market segments. TSI is using leading-edge technologies on a SaaS platform and the Internet of Things (IoT) to solve complex problems.The teams are using web stack technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Golang running on the Google Cloud Platform with Mongo Atlas, Kubernetes, ClearBlade IoT Core, Redis, Terraform, Apigee, and many more cloud services.What Will You Do?In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:Analyze user requirements and architect and develop, test, implement, and support software solutions using programming languages, platforms, frameworks, and toolsWrite code to deliver elegant and scalable solutions, both on-prem and cloudUpdate existing software applications to enhance functionality, fix issues, and incorporate new featuresDemand quality—develop in a test-driven manner with automation in mindDefine and perform rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and debuggingCollaborate—partner well with a diverse and passionate teamLearn—adapt quickly to an evolving market and emerging trends, including outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organizationWork with product owners to understand desired application capabilitiesContinuously improve and document software engineering practicesLead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutionsCoach and mentor team membersConsider the organization's entire infrastructure when making changes and improvementsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervisor/people management (~15% of time). Supervise a team of approximately 4-6 employees (e.g., bi-weekly 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, mentoring and coaching, promotion recommendations, monitoring goals and objectives, recognition, etc.).What Do You Need?RequiredBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field12+ years of software development experience in object-oriented programming and design patternsExperience with JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3/SCSS, or similar tech stackExperience with one or more modern Web frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular)Database experience with databases, including NoSQLCloud experience in one of the major platforms (i.e., Google, AWS, Azure)Container experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar toolsExperience with DevOps and CI/CDExperience with SOLID principlesUnit testing and E2E testing experienceAgile experienceWilling and excited to learn new technologiesMobile application skills a plusWhat Can We Give You?At TSI, our employees are our most valuable assets, and we care about their health and happiness. The dress for your day policy allows employees’ discretion to select appropriate dress for the business of each workday.Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $175,000 - $190,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
