A national client is seeking a Mid‑Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience who is looking to build a sophisticated employment litigation and counseling practice within a collaborative and fast‑paced environment. ResponsibilitiesHandle employment‑related litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenantsDraft and respond to pleadings and discovery, including managing complex factual and legal issuesLitigate restrictive covenant and trade secrets disputesProvide employment counseling support to HR professionals and business leadersDraft and advise on bonus and incentive plans, employee handbooks, arbitration agreements, and employment policiesPartner with senior attorneys on strategy, risk assessment, and client communications Preferred ExperienceMeaningful experience litigating employment law claimsExposure to restrictive covenant, non‑compete, and trade secrets mattersExperience advising clients on workplace policies, compensation structures, and employment agreementsCandidates with strong general litigation backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law are encouraged to apply QualificationsActive admission to the Arizona Bar (required)JD from an ABA‑accredited law schoolExcellent academic credentialsStrong legal writing, analytical, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to manage multiple matters in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environmentSelf‑starter who works well independently and collaboratively as part of a team This role offers hands‑on litigation responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters within a collegial and entrepreneurial environment, supported by the resources of a national platform.
