Senior Maintenance Technician (Level 3)

JOB SUMMARY:Seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician that serves as the senior mechanical and technical authority within the maintenance team. This role is responsible for leading complex troubleshooting efforts, driving equipment reliability improvements, and mentoring junior technicians, while partnering closely with engineering and production leadership to support safe, efficient operations.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* High School Diploma/GED Required* Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with proven leadership and technical expertiseQUALIFICATIONS:System-level understanding of tube mills and auxiliary equipmentAdvanced welding and fabrication skillsStrong understanding of mechanical power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumaticsAdvanced troubleshooting of motors, drives, and VFDsPLC I/O diagnostics and control system troubleshootingProven experience performing RCFAPM and PdM program development and optimizationDemonstrated ability to mentor and lead maintenance techniciansStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lead by example and influence across departmentsRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead complex troubleshooting and major repairsConduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)Develop, optimize, and sustain Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programsIdentify and drive reliability improvements to reduce downtime and maintenance costsMentor, train, and technically support Maintenance Level 1 and Level 2 techniciansCollaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to support operational goalsProvide technical input on equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvementsLead and participate in job safety planning activitiesPerform and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) auditsChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresExcellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long and short-term disability coverage.EOE M/F/D/V
