Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer 3Location: Onsite – Mossville, IL Contract duration: 12 months with potential to extend or convert Job Summary This role is responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical components and systems, with a focus on camera and sensor technologies used in advanced machine applications. The engineer will contribute as both a support and lead resource across multiple product initiatives, helping ensure alignment with system requirements, performance standards, and project timelines. The position involves a mix of hands-on testing, technical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product development from concept through validation.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, including controls, wiring, and integrated technologies Execute performance and environmental testing in lab, field, and third-party environments Develop test plans, document results, and present findings to engineering stakeholders Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at component and system levels using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align product requirements and system performance goals Evaluate design effectiveness, reliability, safety, and cost considerations Support product development efforts by investigating new technologies, vendor products, and competitive solutions Create engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing and implementation Contribute to requirements development by incorporating stakeholder feedback and lessons learned Provide technical support across multiple projects while maintaining organization and execution disciplineRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline 5–7 years of relevant experience in electrical or electronics development Hands-on experience with product testing, including performance and environmental validation Familiarity with camera systems, ADAS technologies, or similar electronic sensor applications Ability to develop test plans, conduct testing, and generate detailed technical reports Experience troubleshooting electrical systems at component or PCBA level Proficiency with engineering tools, design software, and diagnostic equipment Strong understanding of electrical theory and its practical application Screening questions:Do you now or in the future require sponsorship (e.g. H-1B)?
