Title: Heavy Commercial & Industrial Electrical Foreman(Travel / Iowa Projects)Company Name: Quality Plus Services Inc.Salary: $40–$45/hr + Per Diem OpportunitiesQuality Plus Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Foreman to lead crews on heavy commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout the Iowa area and on national travel assignments. This role is ideal for an experienced field leader who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and has experience coordinating work with General Contractors (GCs) on large-scale projects.Candidates with data center and/or semiconductor construction experience are strongly preferred.As a key member of the field leadership team, you will oversee daily operations, maintain safety and quality standards, coordinate manpower and materials, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.Who We AreQuality Plus Services Inc. At QPS, we value professionalism, integrity, dedication, respect, and trust while building strong partnerships with our clients and employees.Responsibilities:Safety LeadershipLead daily safety efforts and ensure all crew members follow site safety requirementsConduct toolbox talks and maintain compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standardsCoordinate with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams as neededCrew & Field CoordinationSupervise and direct electricians and apprentices on-siteCoordinate manpower, daily work assignments, and production goalsWork closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, General Contractors, and other tradesProject ExecutionRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsEnsure installations are completed according to code, schedule, and quality expectationsAssist with scheduling workflow and maintaining project momentumSupport change order tracking and field documentationResource & Material ManagementCoordinate tools, equipment, and material usage on-siteEnsure materials are organized and available to crews as neededCommunicate shortages or procurement needs to project leadershipQuality Control & MentorshipMaintain high-quality workmanship standardsTrain and mentor apprentices and less experienced electriciansHold crews accountable for productivity, workmanship, and professionalismDocumentation & ReportingComplete daily reports and communicate project updates to leadershipDocument progress, manpower, delays, and field changesAssist with maintaining accurate project recordsQualifications:ExperienceMinimum 3+ years of experience in a Foreman or leadership role within heavy commercial or industrial electrical constructionExperience working with General Contractors (GCs) requiredData center and/or semiconductor project experience strongly preferredExperience in industrial facilities, power plants, chemical plants, or mission-critical environments is a plusTechnical KnowledgeStrong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems and installationsAbility to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and specificationsUnderstanding of jobsite safety standards and construction coordinationLeadership & CommunicationStrong leadership and crew management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to solve problems quickly and keep projects moving efficientlyCertifications & RequirementsOSHA certification preferredValid driver's license requiredMust pass a background checkBenefitsHealth Insurance OptionsRetirement Plan OptionsPaid Time OffCareer Growth OpportunitiesWork-Life Balance – 3-Day Weekend OptionsTravel Opportunities with Per DiemCompany & Team EventsPerformance Bonus PotentialContinued Training & CertificationsABC Apprenticeship Training ProgramOnsite Training and Career DevelopmentSchedule10-Hour Shifts4x10 Schedule AvailableMonday–Thursday OptionsOvertime Potential
