We're looking for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to help us deliver that experience in our outdoor power equipment department.We are seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic (STIHL experience strongly preferred) to diagnose, repair, and maintain outdoor power equipment including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and more. This role is key to building customer trust and driving repeat business through high-quality, reliable service.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair STIHL and other small engine equipment (2-cycle & 4-cycle)Perform routine maintenance (tune-ups, blade sharpening, carburetor adjustments, etc.)Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, timelines, and costsManage work orders, parts ordering, and repair trackingMaintain a clean, safe, and organized service areaAssist customers on the sales floor as needed (Ace is all about service!)QualificationsExperience repairing small engines (required)STIHL certification or prior STIHL dealer experience (preferred)Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and manage workflowFriendly, customer-first attitudeBasic computer skills for work orders and inventoryWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience)Flexible schedulingOpportunity to grow with a new, community-focused businessEmployee discountsA positive, team-oriented work environmentWhy River City Ace?We're building something speciala store that gives more to the community than it takes.
