There are ample opportunities to collaborate with other offices on projects, widening your experience and network.This role reports to the Project Delivery Team Lead (Northwest) within the Transportation Services Group (TSG) and will support transportation projects from concept through construction while mentoring a team of EITs.The successful candidate will perform the following duties:Technical ResponsibilitiesSupport and mentor transportation engineering staff in the Kennewick office and across the TSG.Lead delivery of local, state, private, and federally funded transportation projects.Conduct quality control and assurance for engineering deliverables.Utilize or be willing to learn: Autodesk Civil 3DBentley Open RoadsMicrosoft Office SuiteTransportation Group ResponsibilitiesContribute to strategic planning for transportation group operations.Provide technical guidance on a wide range of traffic and transportation projects.Mentor EITs and project engineers.Manage workloads and identify resource needs.Collaborate with design engineers across multiple offices.Business Development ResponsibilitiesSupport business development efforts under the direction of local project managers.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.Professional Engineer license, with ability to become licensed in WA, OR, and ID.8-20 years of progressive transportation engineering experience.Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and deliverables.Strong collaborative, communication, and writing skills.Applicable Career Path TitlesProject Engineer - Lead (Typically 4 or more years of licensure)Project Engineer - Senior (Typically 10 or more years of licensure)Salary Range: $115,000-$155,000 per year, determined by experience.Benefits: In addition to your competitive salary, J-U-B also offers an extensive benefits package including:Professional development opportunitiesBonuses for qualified employeesGenerous vacation and sick leave packageMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceParental Leave401(k) with company match, profit sharingCompany paid Short Term and Long-Term Disability plansThe ability to work in a team-centered, collaborative, and supportive atmosphereJ-U-B is an employee-owned firm and offers ownership opportunities after qualified years of serviceThe application window will be open through June 24, 2026.
