What You Will DoAs a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the rebuild of high-traffic user experiences and help define the frontend architecture for the company’s next generation of products.You will:Own critical product surfaces end-to-end, including high-traffic flows like search and product detail pages.Lead technical design for large initiatives, including writing RFCs and driving cross-functional alignment.Define and implement scalable frontend architecture using modern frameworks (Next.js, React).Improve performance across key metrics such as Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion rates.Establish reusable patterns for routing, data fetching, caching, and component design.Partner with backend engineers to improve API design and frontend performance.Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, mentorship, and best practices.Improve developer velocity through better tooling, testing strategies, and observability.3. Ideal Background7+ years of experience building production web applications.Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.Strong experience with Next.js (SSR/SPA hybrid environments).Proven experience leading large-scale frontend rewrites or migrations.Strong understanding of performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, SEO, conversion).Experience owning projects from scoping through rollout and measurement.High standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability.Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers.4. PreferredExperience working on consumer-facing, high-traffic products.Familiarity with Playwright (testing) and Datadog (observability).Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams.Background in marketplaces, travel, or consumer platforms.Experience influencing frontend standards across teams or organizations.5.
