Corporate Accountant II

Description *This position does not provide sponsorship - All applicants must have the right to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship*CAMP is seeking an experienced Corporate Staff Accountant II to join our Accounting team in its San Diego, CA office. This role is integral in supporting corporate consolidations, M&A and intercompany transactions, and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can collaborate cross-functionally.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Consolidations:Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for multiple business units and regionsEnsure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictionsAssist in preparation of supporting schedulesGeneral Ledger & Intercompany Accounting:Create intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple subsidiariesSupport purchase accounting and other M&A accounting projectsPerform moderately complex account reconciliations, including multi-currency transactionsWork closely with tax and FP&A teams to support accurate transfer pricing and intercompany allocationsProcess Improvement & Systems OptimizationIdentify continuous improvements in financial processes, automation, and reporting efficiencies.Assist with audits and compliance requirementsCollaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize workflows and accounting software functionalityCross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic SupportWork closely with FP&A, tax, audit, and legal teams to ensure accurate reporting and complianceSupport business growth, acquisition, and investment decision activitiesSupport budgeting and forecasting processes as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field4+ years' experience in a similar roleAdvanced knowledge in GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity consolidationsProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Advanced Excel and data analysis skills requiredAbility to navigate moderately complex intercompany transactions and multi-currency accountingExcellent attention to detail and a focus on data quality and integrityEffective as a team player and working autonomouslyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and with minimal supervisionBonus PointsCPA or progress toward certificationExperience supporting M&A transactions and post-merger financial integration and accountingFamiliarity with transfer pricingSalary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE (Depending on experience)Why Work at CAMP?Join a culture where your ideas matter, your impact is real, and your growth is supported.
