any MPay Rate: $2,100.00 - $2,300.00 gross per weekNumber of Positions: 1Specialty: OR Tech - CVORStart Date: 06/01/2026Travel: All inclusiveAssignment Length: 13 weeksSchedule: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (can be submitted for 36 or 48 hrs ; they will receive guaranteed hours)Floating Required: YesFrequency: Daily, based on case volumeAdditional Details:1 dedicated CVOR roomCase Volume: 2-3 cardiac cases per weekTech Expectations:Must be able to scrub independently for open heart casesExpected to assist with vein harvestingTeam Structure: (team varies by shift)1 cardiac surgeon2 perfusionists4 surgical techsPrimary Cardiac Cases:CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)Valve replacements/repairsEquipment & Systems:Experience with standard CVOR equipment expected, including:Heart-lung (bypass) machine support environmentCell saverFamiliarity with common cardiac instrumentation and sterile setup requiredEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThe clinician must have at least 2 years of experience in their discipline (RN, CST, CT Tech, etc.) as well as 2 full years of recent experience in the specialty they are being submitted for (Med/Tele, OR, etc.)Experience with endoscopic (preferred)Due to lower cardiac volume, candidates must be well-rounded and able to support other service lines.Areas: General OR, Vascular, other surgical specialties as neededMinimum expectation: experience in these service lines in addition to CV:Vascular (VASC), General Surgery, Plastics (candidates who only have CVOR experience without additional service line exposure will not be considered)CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSBLSCSTNBSTSA (optional)STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTSDoes not require state licenseABOUT THE FACILITYOur Center is a 180-bed, Trauma level III, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York.
