Skilled Caregiver

Emerald Beryl Homecare LLC is a dedicated and compassionate home care agency committed to enriching lives through personalized and respectful in-home support. We serve individuals and families across the community through various Medicaid waiver programs, including C-HCBS, HCBS-EBD, IHSS, and others. Our mission is to help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently within their own homes by providing high-quality, empathetic care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team as a Skilled Caregiver. This vital role involves providing comprehensive in-home care tailored to the unique needs of each client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient observation, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication administration, and specialized care such as dementia or Alzheimer's support. As a Skilled Caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing our clients' quality of life through attentive and respectful care. Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s personal assistive devices. Must be willing to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9am to 2pm Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations to ensure health stability and report any concerns promptly. Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or other developmental disabilities. Support residents in community settings or assisted living environments by helping with mobility, social engagement, and personal hygiene. Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and performing light cleaning tasks as needed. Document care activities thoroughly to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and facilitate communication within the caregiving team. Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring is essential. Experience providing specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times. Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior. Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families.
