Benefits: ONSITE Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Job Title: Java Backend Lead Location: Phoenix, AZ – Day 1 Onsite, 5 Days WFO Experience: 11+ Years We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead backend design and development, provide technical guidance, ensure code quality, and drive successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead backend architecture, design, and development. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Drive code quality, best practices, and engineering standards. Make technical decisions and contribute to successful project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and technical improvements. Required Skills Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Vert.x, Reactive Programming, and Distributed Systems. Strong knowledge of System Design, OOP, and Design Patterns. Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases. Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure and cloud-native development. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Code Reviews, and Performance Tuning. Strong understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, and SDLC. Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions. Preferred Skills Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed application development.
