Associate Design and Analysis Engineer

Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Vehicle Management System (VMS) team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.You will enable the VMS organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs. The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.Position Responsibilities:Develop electrical schematics and designs for cabling, test hardware, and/or test stationsSelect components for hardware designs and support the procurement and fabrication of hardware designsIntegrate hardware systems and/or software together in a test settingOperate complex test stations, electronic test equipment, and test softwareTest and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsSolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement1+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systemsExperience interpreting technical requirements to create designs and/or documentsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience1+ years of experience conducting component, sub-system, system or system-of-systems tests1+ years analyzing engineering designs to define testing requirementsExperience preparing test plans, schedules and documentationExperience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or real-time operating systemsExperience with software programming and creating scripts for automated testingExperience with Flight Controls or Vehicle Management SystemsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
