Catch the ride!Job DescriptionAccurately determine the Harmonized System (HS) Code for our product portfolio and assign relevant EZT, TARIC (Europe), TARES (Switzerland), and UK Global Tariff classificationsResponsible for the technical classification of goods according to German, EU, and US customs and export control lawsAnalyze technical product specifications to determine appropriate customs classificationMonitor changes in trade laws, including updates to HS Codes and TARIC, and implement necessary adjustments.Continuously monitor updates to export control regulations, sanctions, and embargoes in Germany, the EU, and globally, and ensure internal processes are updated accordingly .Support audits and investigations related to customs classificationsDeveloping and optimizing classification processes and coordinating with authorities and external service providersQualificationsA Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a technical vocational training with several years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineeringStrong technical understanding, including the ability to read technical drawings and documentationExperience with ECCN classificationExperience with customs practice in EU, including identification of issues related to classificationExcellent knowledge of customs tariff classification, including direct experience with classifying products under Harmonized Tariff SystemStrong Analytical and technical mindsetKnowledge of customs and foreign trade is a plusFluency in English, German is a plusAdditional InformationCompetitive salaries based on your professional experienceFast growing international company with stable employmentAnnual vacation and 1 additional day off on your birthdayMental Wellbeing Program with OpenUPOpportunities for advancement, further trainings (over 650 courses on soft and hard skills on our e-learning platform) and coachingReferral Program with attractive incentivesJoin us today and let's create a success story together!
