This role focuses on end-to-end solution architecture across applications, integrations, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise systems while partnering closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and delivery teams.You Will Get ToDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and servicesTranslate business and product requirements into reliable, maintainable solutionsBuild backend services and APIs using Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDKDevelop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIsWork with MySQL and PostgreSQL and implement application integrations and data flowsCollaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver softwareTroubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environmentsWrite clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussionsContribute to CI/CD, automated testing, cloud adoption, and application modernizationApply secure coding practices and support performance, scalability, and maintainabilityDocument technical solutions and development processesWho You AreA hands-on software developer who enjoys solving technical problems and building reliable applicationsStrong in backend development, API development, application integration, and distributed systemsComfortable with modern development frameworks, databases, and cloud technologiesA collaborative, proactive problem-solver who values clean, maintainable codeAdaptable and comfortable working in an agile development environmenQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of professional experience in software developmentStrong hands-on experience with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDKExperience with REST and GraphQL APIs, MySQL, and PostgreSQLUnderstanding of software development principles, microservices, and distributed systemsExperience with version control, testing, debugging, code reviews, and CI/CDExperience with AWS or AzureFamiliarity with DevSecOps, secure coding, and modern software delivery practicesStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsNice to HaveExperience with Angular, React, TypeScript, or JavaScriptExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless, or cloud-native developmentFamiliarity with event-driven architecture, Zero Trust, or IAM integrationsExperience supporting federal government agenciesSalaryWe are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $75k–$110k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect.
