The Audio Technology team extends that legacy by building software platforms and capabilities that bring Bose audio to consumer electronics, wearables, IoT, and connected devices through OEM and ecosystem partnerships. We sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and commercial strategy; turning deep audio expertise into scalable solutions that partners ship to millions of users.About The RoleThis Senior Product Manager will own a defined customer problem space and build 0-to-1 platform capabilities that serve Bose's growing partner ecosystem. It is an individual contributor role with significant ownership: you will set the direction for your area, make real product decisions, and see them through from problem discovery to launch. You will work closely with internal and external partners and customers, identifying unmet needs and using those insights to shape the platform roadmap.You are a trusted voice of truth for both customer needs and product direction.Who You AreYou combine strong product judgment, technical depth and have experience delivering innovative embedded solutions on mobile OS platforms, wearable/PC/connected consumer devices, or a closely adjacent embedded domain, and you know how to balance near-term partner needs with long-term platform strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify customer and market problems worth solving, and translate them into clear platform requirements, priorities, and roadmaps.Lead 0-to-1 product development from concept and problem definition through product-market fit, launch, and iteration.Work directly with customers and business development teams to understand needs, validate opportunities, and shape solution strategy.Partner closely with engineering to define scalable, reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off partner customizations.Act as the internal and external voice of the customer, bringing clarity to what matters most and where Bose should invest.Define success metrics for product outcomes and use data, customer learning, and business results to refine strategy over time.Required ExperienceMust Have8+ years of product management or closely related technical product leadership experience.Proven track record shipping 0-to-1 software products or features, including problem discovery, product definition, execution, launch and scaling.Strong understanding of embedded or system-level product development, with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs and implementation constraints.Ability to create roadmaps that balance immediate customer opportunities with longer-term platform strategy.Clear, structured approach to defining success through metrics, KPIs, or outcome-based measures.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, business development, and partner stakeholders.PreferredDeep understanding of Android and/or Windows media frameworks, or iOS/mobile OS audio stacks.Familiarity with lower-level system integration areas such as firmware, drivers, SoC/platform dependencies, or hardware-software interaction.Experience with edge AI/ML or intelligent on-device features, especially in media, context-aware, or perception-driven applications.Experience with connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, wireless audio, or multi-device orchestration.Experience building reusable software platforms that support multiple customers, products, or partner implementations.Why Join This TeamOwn your product area end-to-end. Our compensation is thoughtfully tailored to your skills, experience, education, and location, and goes beyond base salary. The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $150,600-$207,150.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
