What You'll Need: • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required • 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist Minimum Requirements: • Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate in Radiation Therapy from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program required. • Registered or registry-eligible by the ARRT. Must obtain ARRT registration within one year from graduation of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. • Valid Massachusetts state Radiation Therapy license required. • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. • Two years of clinical Radiation Therapist experience required. • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills required. • Experience administering treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists and operating linear accelerator equipment preferred. Additional Duties: • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with departmental protocols. • Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. • Verify treatment plans and dosage in collaboration with the oncology team. • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. • Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records according to policy.
