This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating current production workflows, developing and implementing process improvements, and collaborating with production, maintenance, and engineering teams. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will create and update process documentation, support equipment selection and layout changes, and monitor key performance metrics. The role also involves troubleshooting process issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.Qualifications Strong foundation in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to apply best practices on the production floor.Experience in Process Engineering, including analyzing workflows, implementing improvements, and validating process changes.Background in Mechanical Engineering, with practical knowledge of machinery, tooling, and equipment design or selection.Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency with CAD software and basic familiarity with ERP or manufacturing execution systems is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Jackson, MI, collaborating with cross-functional teams and production personnel.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
