Koscom Networks is hiring experienced *Fiber Technicians* for residential fiber installations in *Eureka, CA*. Candidates must have previous experience performing residential *FTTH fiber installations and service activations*.
Responsibilities
* Perform residential FTTH fiber installations and activations
* Install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber internet services
* Test fiber connections and verify service quality
* Educate customers on equipment and services
* Complete work orders accurately
* Follow company safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Previous experience with *residential fiber/FTTH installations*
* Valid U.S. driver's license
* Valid Social Security Number (SSN)
* Conversational English
* *Own white SUV, van, or truck with a ladder rack*
* Rental trucks available for *$150/week*
* Ability to provide your own tools and gas
* Ability to pass a drug test and background check
* Ability to work independently in a field environment
Compensation & Schedule
* *$2,000–$2,500 per week*, pay per completed job
* 1099 contractor position
* Average schedule: *5 days per week*
* Paid weekly after the initial 3-week processing period
