Role Description The OpenShift Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenShift Container Platform solutions. This hybrid full-time role is based in Dallas, TX, with opportunities for remote work. Responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and maintaining OpenShift clusters, troubleshooting and resolving issues, automating processes, working with containerized applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems efficiency and security. The engineer will also focus on system updates, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and providing technical expertise for optimizing scalability and performance. Qualifications Proficiency with OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologiesExperience in system automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar toolsFamiliarity with administering Linux environments and shell scriptingKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CIUnderstanding of network configuration, security best practices, and troubleshootingStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plusRelevant certifications such as Red Hat OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes certification are preferred
