To learn more, please visit www.generousbrands.com.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLEThe Tally Clerk creates inventory systematically as it's physically produced, audits inventory to ensure physical and system attributes match and are correct and that all new inventory meets criteria for acceptance into the warehouse. Coordinates with production on correcting issues with new production and on handling of rework product.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORKey Security Responsibilities:Process new production to ensure physical inventory is reflected accurately systematically, and that inventory meets criteria for acceptance into the warehouseDocument audits of new productionCoordinate with Production on correcting issues with new production, and the timely physical and systematic handling of rework productTroubleshoot and resolve issues preventing the systematic processing of new productionReconcile production pack out against item demand to identify shorts or overagesEnsure inventory in the physical deposit location for new production matches what's showing systematicallyComplete process audits to monitor the adherence of handling procedures, including investigation to determine root cause and communication to necessary partiesEnsure departmental compliance with company policies and guidelinesOther duties as assignedADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and maintenance documentsAbility to accurately write routine reports and simple correspondenceComfortable working in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentPro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervisionMust be able to work as a team and follow instructionsConfident learning and using the equipment and tools used to perform the jobPossess basic mathematical skills (such as adding and subtracting)Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred: Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and WordMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* High school diploma or GED; six to nine months of related warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred* Experience with JD Edwards and Red Prairie WMS a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:Environmental exposure to wet and humid conditionsMaterial exposure, moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks etc)Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicalsMust be able to lift/push-pull/carry up to 50 lbsMust be able to stand and walk for an extended periodExposure to extreme cold temperatures (34 degrees or below)WHAT WE OFFER plus more!Our rich benefits packages are designed to support the health and well-being of both our eligible team members and families.Medical, Dental & VisionGroup Life and AD&DVoluntary Life and AD&DGroup Short & Long-Term Disability401(k)Paid Time OffFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramGym Membership DiscountsEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culturally diverse organization.
