Seasonal Restaurant ServerThe Seasonal Restaurant Server will serve all guests in multiple dining establishments while striving to exceed any and all of the guests expectations.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Seasonal position for multiple dining outlets, May October.Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.Must be able to work inside and outside at multiple dining outlets.Knowledge of seasonal alcoholic beverages or the ability to learn them.Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and serviceWrite out order on checkRelay order to kitchenServe all guests using the proper serving habits from kitchen and service barsGarnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to servingServes guests from chafing dish at tableLadles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined necessaryObserve diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completedTotals bill and accepts payment or refers guests to cashierClear all dinnerware used and return it to dish washing area for cleaningCleans and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each courseResponsible for all service areas, refilling condiments, salt and peppers, coffee stations, etc.Must become knowledgeable about the park and all related information pertinent to jobMust be able to carry trays weighing approximately 25 lbs.Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employeesEducation And/Or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
