We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our well-established Family Practice office in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner looking to build a strong patient base and make a meaningful impact in healthcare in a traditional family practice setting. The candidate will get pay as 1099 independent contractor.ResponsibilitiesPerform Compensation and Pension Examinations on VeteransComplete a thorough review of digital medical recordsConduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claimsSubmit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim.All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic conditions.Ordering and interpreting X-rays and laboratory tests to assist in diagnoses.Conducting comprehensive physical exams.Facilitating referrals to specialists and coordinating with other healthcare providers.Collaborating closely with our staff to ensure the best care for our patientsMust be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per weekQualifications:Board-certified Nurse Practitioners (autonomous preferred)One year Experience or some prior VA work is ideal.Design your own scheduleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work autonomousFlorida NP/PA LicenseSkillsProven experience as a nurse practitionerExcellent knowledge of the nursing processExcellent knowledge of patient careIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all timesA team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsible and compassionateOutstanding organizational and multi-tasking skillsPatient with excellent problem-solving skillsMSN from a nursing programValid Florida APRN nursing licenseBLS or CPR certifiedProfessional liability or malpractice insuranceJob Types: Contract, Local contract, PRN, Per diem, Temp-to-hire, Permanent, Seasonal, Tenured, Non-tenurePay: $200.00 - $400.00 per dayBenefits:Flexible scheduleWork Location: In person
