Job Title: Program Manager V Duration: 6 Months (Interim/Contract) Location: RemoteRole OverviewA leading global technology company is seeking a seasoned healthcare compliance officer and digital health attorney to join its Corporate Compliance & Ethics team in an interim capacity. This high-impact role encompasses leadership of the Healthcare Compliance Program alongside comprehensive digital health legal and regulatory counseling, with Client on healthcare fraud and abuse, FDA medical device compliance, and international medical device regulatory matters.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee, monitor, and sustain the Healthcare Compliance Program, including policies and proceduresServe as Chair of the Healthcare Compliance Committee managing meeting cadence, agendas, documentation, and charter developmentReport program status and compliance risks to senior leadership, including board-level reporting supportReview new and revised business arrangements involving federal health care programs for legal and regulatory complianceCoordinate internal and external compliance reviews and auditsDevelop and deliver compliance training and education programsManage compliance communication channels, document concerns, and ensure appropriate follow-throughSupport investigations into compliance incidents and assist with corrective action and prevention planningProvide legal counsel to product, operations, and sales teams supporting health initiativesBuild and scale compliance infrastructure for consumer and commercial health products distributed across global jurisdictionsServe as a strategic link between compliance advisory functions and operational/product teams, delivering actionable solutions to internal stakeholdersRequired QualificationsJ.D. required with active bar membership10 15+ years of combined legal and healthcare compliance experienceMinimum 7 10 years focused specifically on healthcare regulatory and compliance workDeep expertise in healthcare fraud and abuse law Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, and federal healthcare program complianceDemonstrated ability to build, operationalize, and manage a full-cycle compliance program (policies, training, audits, risk assessments, board reporting)Preferred QualificationsFDA medical device regulatory experience, including 510(k), De Novo, and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) classificationsInternational medical device regulatory experience (EU MDR and other jurisdictions)Digital health and health-tech product counseling backgroundExperience chairing compliance committees or cross-functional governance bodiesFamiliarity with DOJ compliance program effectiveness guidanceExperience managing investigations and corrective action plansBackground advising on consumer and commercial health products at scaleWhat Makes This Opportunity CompellingWork on first-of-their-kind legal and regulatory challenges at the intersection of advanced technology and healthcare including AR/VR, wearables, and AI-driven health applicationsCollaborate with world-class product, engineering, and legal teams on health innovations with global scaleExperience the pace and complexity of a tech-driven environment tackling healthcare regulatory challenges ideal for professionals who thrive in ambiguity and rapid evolutionDisqualifying FactorsNo J.D. or active legal licenseNo healthcare regulatory or compliance background (general corporate compliance is insufficient)No experience with U.S. federal healthcare program laws (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, etc.)No in-house or industry exposure (pure law firm background without any in-house experience is unlikely to be a fit)Inability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentPerformance ExpectationsMaintain program continuity without disruption to meetings, training, and policy managementDeliver responsive, actionable guidance to product, legal, and business stakeholdersEnsure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of compliance risksComplete scheduled audits, board reporting, training sessions, and policy updates on timeMaintain thorough documentation of compliance concerns and committee recordsInterview Process2 3 rounds | 45 minutes eachBehavioral and scenario-based format (no technical/coding assessments)Expect hypothetical compliance scenarios, program management questions, and leadership judgment assessmentsScheduling is flexible
