The primary responsibilities include performing high-priority stroke workups, conducting MRI safety screenings, operating and maintaining equipment, coordinating with the ER team, and ensuring accurate documentation in patient charting. This role requires flexibility in covering shifts to maintain department throughput.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-priority stroke workups in coordination with tele-neurologists.Conduct strict MRI safety screenings for patients and staff.Operate and maintain image quality on Canon Orion 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T systems.Work closely with the ER team at the main campus to prioritize urgent imaging.Utilize Epic EMR for patient charting and Agfa PACS for image storage and transmission.Position patients and explain procedures for comfort and image accuracy.Cover 12-hour weekend shifts and provide supplemental weekday coverage.Minimum Education and Experience Qualification RequirementsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalentCertifications required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, BLS CertificationQualificationsHighly proficient in stroke workupsExperience with Canon 1.5T or Siemens 3T systemsProficient in using EPIC EMRAssociates or Bachelors preferredSchedule / ShiftSaturday & Sunday (12-hour shifts) plus two 6-hour shifts during the week.BenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
